OC Waste & Recycling and Orange County Department of Education's Inside the Outdoors invite educators in Orange County to register for Project Zero Waste! Created by educators for educators, this free, standards‑aligned K–12 curricula integrates into existing classroom lessons and advances environmental learning for students across Orange County.

Pucks, Sticks & Reuse Tricks with Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club

OC Waste & Recycling, in collaboration with the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club and Inside the Outdoors, welcomes schools and clubs in Orange County to participate in a creative classroom art project through upcycling. Inspired by Project Zero Waste, winners of the Pucks, Sticks & Reuse Tricks art contest will receive tickets to an Anaheim Ducks hockey game. The contest opens on February 26, 2026, and closes on April 2, 2026. Nominees must be a K-12 classroom, after-school program or similar located in Orange County.
