Gate Fees
Gate fees are collected upon leaving the landfill at the fee booth. A vehicle is weighed upon entering past the fee booth. The vehicle is re-weighed when it is leaving the landfill. The difference in the weight is the amount the fee will be based upon. Only cash and checks are accepted. Credit cards are not accepted. Checks need to be made payable to the County of Orange.
 
LANDFILL FEES
Posted Gate Fee:
$46.00 per ton.

Hard-to-handle Fee:
An additional $5.00 per ton is levied for hard-to-handle materials. Examples include: items over 6 feet in length or 3 ft. in diameter, fine dust, large chunks of concrete, boulders, inerts mixed with rebar, tree stumps, appliances.
 
Minimum Charges

Autos/SUVs/Minivans:
$5.00 per vehicle

Other Vehicles:
$20.00 per vehicle
Payload must weigh less than 880 lbs. Vehicles with payloads weighing more than 880 lbs. will be charged the posted gate fee.

Contract gate fee:
$22.00 per ton
Contract rate is only for cities, solid waste haulers, and sanitary districts that signed 10 year waste disposal agreements with the County of Orange.
