Welcome to the Environmental Documents section of the IWMD website.

Documents are posted here to inform website visitors of projects currently proposed by the Integrated Waste Management Department (IWMD), and to facilitate access to environmental documentation for those projects, as encouraged by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

After reviewing the document, you may want to submit a comment for the County’s consideration. Instructions for doing that, and the deadline for submittal, are provided in the document. If you would like to e-mail your comment, you will find an e-mail link for that project in the front of the document. When composing written correspondence or an e-mail comment we ask that you include a phone number and your postal mailing address with your message.

NOTE: If an e-mailed comment or attachment cannot be downloaded or opened for any reason, or is rejected by a virus firewall, it may not become part of the administrative record. If such a failure occurs, we will make a good faith effort to identify and contact the sender, so that an alternative mode of transmittal can be attempted.
